Lessons are dynamic and suited to your needs. They can be conversational or can take the form of a presentation over video call with activities and feedback after said presentation. I believe that learning is a two-way process, so I will always make time for you to ask me questions in or out of the lesson.
Topics can cover any aspect of the Spanish language, be it grammar, vocabulary, speaking and listening practice or translation. I translate Spanish and Latin American literature in my spare time and lived in Mexico for a year so the examples of language I use in lessons will most likely be informed by the cultures of Spanish-speaking countries.
With regards to my experience: I am studying Spanish as an undergraduate and am on track for a first. At GCSE and A-level I achieved a 9 and an A* respectively. I have lived in Mexico for a year, and worked at an archive reading over Spanish-language legal documents and news articles whilst honing my spoken Spanish with native speakers.
I am on my Summer break before my final year of university begins so I will be able to provide lessons at whatever time suits you best. The length of the lesson depends on your schedule but I would recommend at least an hour to cover the teaching, activity and discussion segments of a typical lesson.
After each lesson I will discuss what we learned and ask what you think the objective of the next lesson should be.
