Hello! I'm Joel, I'm a Secondary School and GCSE level tutor with a degree in Mathematics and Music from the University of Southampton. I'm a calm and patient tutor who enjoys helping students grow in confidence, and giving students their own sense of understanding.

I specialise in clear, creative ways to approach problems to help concepts stick and feel more manageable. This includes visual learning, step-by-step reasoning, and more bespoke creative approaches, depending on the student and their goals.

My experience in both maths and music gives me analytical and creative skills that support clearer, more personalised teaching and help students connect with ideas in a way that feels intuitive.

All lessons take place online, making it easy to fit tutoring into busy schedules while still providing high-quality, one-to-one support.
