My lessons are supportive, structured, and tailored to each student’s individual needs and learning style. I believe that confidence is just as important as content, so I aim to create an encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.
Typically, we would begin by reviewing previous material or addressing any areas of difficulty, then move on to new content using clear explanations and examples. I regularly check understanding throughout the session and adapt the pace as needed.
Students are encouraged to explain their thinking, attempt problems independently, and reflect on what they’ve learned. This helps build long-term understanding rather than immediate memorisation. I also provide constructive feedback and practical strategies students can use between lessons to reinforce their progress.
I have experience working with learners of different abilities and confidence levels, including those who feel anxious or have previously struggled with the subject. I have experience working with children aged 4 through to young adults aged 25 with additional needs. I am patient, approachable, and committed to helping students develop both their skills and their self-belief.
My goal is for students to leave each lesson feeling clearer, more confident, and motivated to continue improving.
