I have previously worked with My Music Lessons to teach children how to play piano. I have worked with them to help them understand the basics of music theory, how to read sheet music and how to play it on the piano. Typically we will focus on scales initially and use that as a basis to work from. I do not require my students to pursue grades and we can typically start on any peice they wish to learn, as long as it is within their skill level. I am currently working towards my ABRSM Grade 8 in Piano.

I have also had work experience helping GCSE students in Reading Girls School for a few months, and I am best suited to help with subjects such as Biology, Chemistry, English and Maths. The lesson content can be heavily customised to individual needs, based on confidence level as well as exam board. I am happy to both go over content with a student, or do guided practice papers to really help nail down exam technique, which is oftentimes the biggest issues for students who would be achieving higher grades otherwise.

If lessons are held online, it can be done through Zoom, where I can share my screen to allow teaching as if it were in a classroom, however this is more suited for learning Music Theory, Biology, Chemistry, English, and Maths. In person lessons would be more beneficial for those wishing to learn how to play the piano.
