I am an interdisciplinary humanist working at the intersection of Art History, Theology, and Philosophy, with a particular specialism in the early modern Hispanic world and sacred art. My teaching combines intellectual rigour with an existential sensitivity to questions of beauty, truth, and cultural identity, helping students see how ideas take shape in architecture, visual culture, and lived religious experience. I have taught across secondary, undergraduate, and adult education contexts — from Philosophy and Ethics at King’s College London to History of Art at Oxford — and I thrive in tutorial and seminar settings where serious, attentive conversation can unfold. As a native Spanish speaker and expert in Spanish-speaking culture, especially the Iberian and Latin American traditions, I offer students not only linguistic fluency but deep cultural insight into the intellectual, artistic, and theological developments of the Hispanic world.
