Hello, my name is Joanne. I hold a 300-hour TEFL Certificate. I served in the Royal Navy for seven years, which provided me with a unique perspective and invaluable experiences. I am passionate about reading, walking, and traveling; exploring different countries has given me an appreciation for cultural diversity and a love for global cuisine.


I am a patient, adaptable educator who enjoys a challenge. I have taught children from diverse cultural backgrounds as an EAL teacher in an international school in Belgium, where I facilitated both group and one-to-one sessions. I’ve also had the opportunity to teach local Belgian students online. My lesson plans are carefully structured, yet flexible, to meet each student’s unique needs while making learning enjoyable.
