In my previous experience of tutoring a Sociology student in my sixth form, I used PowerPoints with more clear and concise key theories, followed by the main criticisms of the theory. To end the PowerPoint, I included a past paper question of the topic and guided the student to plan strong structured paragraphs to answer the exam question. I have rich resources in exam practice ready to be tackled either independently or with guidance, depending on your preference, and clean copies of self-made end of topic fill-in sheets for each unit. However, I am flexible and can be adaptable to whatever format suits you as the pupil as I want to cultivate the right environment and learning to help you to thrive as an individual within Sociology.
