Teacher Joan at your service. I have 10+ years academic tutorial experience. I was able to teach 3 years old up to 17 years old students. I also teach English as Second Language to adults and businessmen.
I teach Reading and Literacy, Numeracy as well as Cultural Arts and Sciences to toddlers and Pre-schoolers.
I teach English, Math, History and Science to elementary, Junior Highschool.
I can help you with Research and Humanities if you are in Senior Highschool.
No worries, I am not a strict-type of a tutor. I can also be your confidantè since I am also a Child Psychologist and Counselor.
I can mentor you after school. I will do reviewers everytime you have an incoming exams.
As a Tutor I am responsible for helping students learn and understand new concepts and complete assignments.
I prepare lessons by studying lesson plans, reviewing textbooks in detail to understand the topic I will be teaching and providing additional projects if needed during a session.
I will make sure that I will build rapport to students eventhough I will be meeting and teaching through online. I will create a happy and fun virtual learning.
During my free time I teach less fortunate kids. I encourage street children to read and write. I also partnered with some church organization that helps kids for a free tutorials.
I am a mom of a young adult daughter and a teenager son, so I know how to talk and understand these age brackets.
