Jincy Kochumani

Hello! I’m Jincy, a qualified Mathematics teacher with a B.Ed. in Mathematics, a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and a D.El.Ed., with three years of teaching experience across primary, upper primary and secondary levels.

I believe Mathematics becomes much easier when students understand the ideas rather than simply memorising formulas. My lessons are interactive, supportive and adapted to each student’s individual level, learning style and goals.

I use clear explanations, real-life examples, visual methods, puzzles, problem-solving activities and guided practice to make Mathematics interesting and easier to understand. Whether a student needs help building strong foundations, preparing for exams, improving confidence or tackling challenging topics, I aim to provide personalised support.

I am patient, approachable and committed to creating a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident to ask questions and learn from mistakes.

I currently teach in English and hold IELTS Academic CEFR Level C1. I would be happy to support students who want to strengthen both their mathematical understanding and confidence.
