My lessons are focused, interactive and tailored to the individual student. I believe the best way to learn Maths and Physics is to properly understand the ideas behind the methods, rather than simply memorising them.
I typically begin by identifying what the student already understands and where there are gaps in their knowledge. From there, we build the fundamentals together before applying them to increasingly challenging problems. I encourage students to think through problems themselves, while providing guidance whenever they get stuck.
I want my lessons to feel relaxed and enjoyable, but also productive. Students should feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and exploring ideas without worrying about getting everything right immediately. Building confidence is a big part of my approach — when a student understands why something works, they become much more capable of tackling unfamiliar questions independently.
I can adapt lessons depending on what the student needs, whether that means working through difficult topics, strengthening foundations, preparing for exams or simply getting more comfortable with the subject.
I teach both GCSE and A-Level Maths and Physics, with lessons available online or in person.
