My lessons are calm, structured and focused on building real understanding rather than rushing through topics. I mainly teach secondary school students (especially GCSE) in maths and science. In the first session I get to know how you currently feel about the subject, look at your schoolwork or past papers, and agree a few clear goals together. From there, sessions usually mix short explanations, guided examples and plenty of practice, with space to ask questions at any point.
I am a recent Engineering graduate from the University of Cambridge and have spent several years working with young people in different settings, including youth programmes at Coin Street, as well as tutoring younger family members. That experience has taught me how to adapt to different personalities, explain ideas in more than one way, and keep students engaged even when they find a topic difficult. Over time, I aim to help students feel more confident in class, more in control of their revision, and steadily more independent in how they learn.
