I am a dedicated and passionate Mathematics teacher with a strong academic background and a commitment to helping students achieve their full potential. I completed a PGCE with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Secondary Education and hold a Master's degree in Mathematics, giving me excellent subject knowledge and effective teaching skills. During my PGCE, I completed placements in two secondary schools, where I taught and supported students across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4). These placements enabled me to plan and deliver engaging lessons, assess student progress, and adapt my teaching to meet the needs of learners with different abilities and learning styles. Before pursuing my teaching qualification, I worked as an Assistant Professor, where I gained valuable experience in teaching, mentoring, and supporting students. This role strengthened my ability to explain complex mathematical concepts clearly and inspire students to develop confidence in the subject. My teaching style is based on three key questions: What are we learning? Why are we learning it? How can we learn it effectively? This approach helps students understand the purpose and relevance of their learning while developing a deeper understanding of mathematics. My greatest strengths are my strong mathematical subject knowledge and my ability to adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs, enabling students to achieve their full potential.
