Having been tutoring for around 5 years I have developed my teaching methods over the years. I will use a couple hours in the beginning to gauge where the student is and highlight areas of improvement. This allows me to get an idea on how our lessons will go. Having taught students in a classroom environment and also 1 to 1 tutoring I am able to adapt to the situation. I like to keep track of the student’s progress, this is often through reflection after the session. This allows me to keep track of everyone’s progress and let’s me provide any extra help that is needed. Whatever your situation is, I can work around this. If one week you want to focus on a particular topic because you have an exam coming up, that is completely fine with me. My job is to help you reach your potential so I will do whatever I can to help this to happen. If you need more lessons for a couple weeks to build your confidence up, I am happy to look at my schedule and work you in. I look forward to hearing from you and what I can do to help. Although I predominantly tutor Maths and English, I am more than capable tutoring in other areas depending on what level. I have GCSEs in a range of subjects so it is always worth asking if I can cater to you in these areas. I am more than happy to help where needed.
