I like to use animations and PowerPoints which I create myself, however my teaching style varies depending on the subject.
For example, when teaching maths, I prefer to give brief tutorials and then I encourage students to complete questions in their own time before marking them myself and giving feedback. This helps them learn from their mistakes and better understand mathematical processes.
All of my lessons are interactive and encourage you to engage creatively with the relevant content. I want students to find maths like riding a bicycle - once you learn, you don't forget!
I have achieved 187/200 in my Maths iGCSE, which I undertook a year early for my age group. Since then, I have completed several other freestanding maths qualifications, including the OCR Level 3 FSMQ. I spend a lot of time teaching siblings, friends, and younger pupils at school, and I want to share this with others online. Hopefully by doing so, I can help others learn while also gaining experience in education myself!
