My name is Jeff. I have been living and teaching here in southern Colombia for the past 28 years where I have become truly bilingual. I have owned and operated an english school here in this time. I have successfully helped thousands of students achieve their life-changing goal of becoming bilingual. I take great pride in seeing my students reach their potential professionally and personally. Learning english can change people's life trajectory completely.
Over this period of time, I have developed an put into practice a methodology which allows students to think in english as opposed to just translating it. Having taught English for so long while living immersed in Spanish here has given me an advantage over other teachers. I have developed textbooks and teaching material as well
Learning English can be very tough, but I take pride in seeing my students become bilingual and gain so many advantages in their lives. I have experience teaching students from three-years-old to adults, I focus on a method that immerses you in a practical environment. The best way to learn a new language is by assimilating it through its use– that means you don’t translate. You hear or read the target language and your mind accepts the new language without thinking of it in your native tongues. You speak and write without translating.
