I have taught languages to students of all levels and abilities: after-school clubs in Primary School, friendly conversation groups, super-achieving school students and less-motivated ones, language lovers, language phobics, professionals about to relocate in a new country and other profiles; my youngest student was 4, my oldest was 90! Consequently, I pride myself in finding the right teaching style and pace that suit your learning needs. Because learning can only happen if you are interested, and languages are all about the ability to communicate, I will consider your hobbies and interests and use learning material that is relevant to you. Depending on your personal reason for learning a language and your final goal, I will construct my lesson with more or less grammar, with regular vocabulary building and frequent speaking time to increase your confidence and improve the 4 skills (reading, listening, writing and speaking). If you request to, I will provide you with tasks/homework between lessons. And if you wish to put your skills into practice by travelling, I can even provide you with advice as I am a keen traveller myself!
