As a tutor, my aim is to bridge the gap between textbook theory and real-world results. My sessions are highly practical, drawing from over a decade of hands-on experience in personal training, osteopathy, functional medicine, and a solid foundation in sports science. I don’t just teach reps and sets—I help students and clients understand the why behind movement, the how of effective coaching, and the what next when individuals hit roadblocks, whether they are athletes, patients, or general health clients.

Lessons follow a dynamic format: I combine short theory blocks with applied coaching practice, real client case studies, and movement analysis. I frequently use video breakdowns, practical scenarios, and group discussions to sharpen critical thinking and coaching instincts. I emphasise biomechanics, coaching language, and evidence-based programming that’s flexible to client needs—whether that’s performance, pain relief, or general health improvement.

My background includes running multiple clinics, working across rehab, strength, and lifestyle medicine, and coaching a diverse range of individuals from athletes to older adults dealing with injuries. This breadth allows me to train future PTs to think like adaptable professionals who can serve both athletic and general health-focused populations.

I also teach from the perspective of someone who trains daily and coaches remotely as well as in-person, giving students insight into the evolving landscape of digital coaching and hybrid services. My goal is to produce personal trainers and health coaches who are confident, well-rounded, and truly ready for the demands of the modern fitness and health industries—and who know how to help people genuinely achieve their health and fitness goals.
