I strongly believe in personalising my tutoring sessions to make sure each student’s learning style and preferences are provided for. Given this, I will make sure to talk to my students about what they want to gain from the sessions and what they prefer to focus on, whether it be achieving a qualification or just challenging themselves to learn a new language. I am a graduate who has spent the last 4 years studying both Spanish and Portuguese language and achieved a first-class degree classification .I myself have also completed both the GCSE and A level Spanish qualifications meaning I have an awareness of the content and skills required for these qualifications. In the case that the student is working towards these qualifications, I will create lesson plans that cover all the necessary content and work on the points of weakness to ensure the student is prepared for their exams.
Content will cover a range of grammatical structures, verb tenses, vocabulary, idioms, conjugations and more of differing difficulty depending on the experience and level of the student. I also aim to make this content engaging as well as effective through other mediums such as music, film and literature.
Finally, I also have experience working with and teaching children in a professional setting (after school club).
