Jayden Mensah

Hi! My name is Jayden Mensah, and I am excited to educate you in the ways of Art and Design! Having recently completed my Art and Design GCSE (and achieving an A*), I would love nothing more than to share my knowledge with the current GCSE and secondary school art students. Within the school, I also serve as an Art, Biology and Chemistry mentor, and this has given me extensive experience working with younger students and equipping them for their GCSEs. I have also recently had my own artwork, 'Unframed', exhibited in the Royal Academy of Arts Summer Show online exhibition, showcasing my dedication to art and my love for creativity. In my lessons, I intend to build on and introduce different art techniques, such as pencil drawing, painting, watercolour painting and many more. Mentees will also have 7-day support throughout the week, and will be able to ask me about any concerns and queries regarding their GCSE Art course via my email (linked in my profile). Students should also feel free to share with me any feedback from their teachers on their current artwork and portfolios, and I will be sure to provide professional advice on how they can improve or align their work with the A* criteria. My preferred working hours are between 9:00 and 17:00 on both Saturdays and Sundays; however, I am also willing to do after-school sessions if desired, all for the reasonable price of £15 per hour.
