Jay Hume

I am a Sailing Instructor who is very passionate about teaching subjects that I myself love - Sailing and Maths - and I have been teaching a variety of ages and abilities for nearly 5 years now, through organisations such as Sea Cadets and Youth Sailing schemes.

I am going into my Second Year for Aerospace Electronics Engineering at the University of Southampton.

Now, I wish to teach Maths professionally to others to either help them through exams, catch up on their syllabus, or even to get them started on their learning journey. I am, and always have been, passionate about Maths and wish to assist others in gaining more of a passion and understanding for the subject.

I strive to help the students with my lessons with a personalised and engaging format to ensure that these sessions will stay with them. My goal is to help others, with a broad range of different abilities, to grasp a better understanding of Maths and to help further their academic goals.

I can teach from KS1 up to, and including, A-level Maths.
