Jay Heald

Hi my name is Jay and i have over 10 years experience working within the electronic music sphere with releases across multiple labels internationally and played shows throughout Europe.

This will be a casual, collaborative environment with plenty of dialogue focused on who you are, what inspires you, and exactly what kind of music you want to create!

Your current skill level and personal goals will shape how we approach our sessions. If you are an experienced producer looking for targeted feedback on arrangements, sound design, or mixing choices for a track you’ve already started, we can dive straight into fine-tuning your project. If you are a complete novice looking to make your very first loop, I will walk you through the fundamentals step-by-step to get you comfortable with the software and building ideas with confidence.

We can cover technical topics like structuring arrangements, mixing essentials, sound selection, EQ, compression, and workflow efficiency or focus on creative habits like overcoming writer's block, establishing a routine, and capturing inspiration the second the spark hits.

Every producer’s journey is different, and I adapt my teaching style to match how you learn best. My goal is to give you tailored guidance, practical skills, and constructive feedback so you can develop your unique sound, overcome creative hurdles, and finish tracks you are genuinely proud of.

If this sounds like the right fit for your goals, please don't hesitate to book an online session with me today to take the next step in your music production journey!
