My lessons are designed to be accessible, practical, and supportive for people of all ages and backgrounds, whether you’re completely new to music production or looking to refine existing skills. We work either online through live screen sharing or in person, depending on what suits you best, and everything is centred around real, hands-on use of Pro Tools from the very first session.

Rather than overwhelming you with theory, I take a step-by-step approach. We move at your pace, starting with the essentials—setting up a session, understanding audio tracks, recording, and basic editing—before gradually building into more advanced areas like arrangement, mixing, signal flow, and professional workflow techniques. Every concept is demonstrated in real time, and you’re encouraged to try things yourself as we go.

A big focus of my teaching is clarity and confidence. I break down complex studio processes into simple, repeatable actions so nothing feels intimidating or out of reach. I also help you understand how professional studios actually operate, including how engineers and producers think during a session, how decisions are made under time pressure, and how to keep projects organised and efficient from start to finish.

As you progress, we explore creative aspects too—how to shape sound, develop your own style, and make musical choices that feel intentional rather than random. I tailor each lesson to your goals, whether that’s producing your own music, working with artists, or preparing for a career in the industry.

The overall aim is to make music production feel approachable, structured, and enjoyable, while giving you the real-world skills and mindset needed to grow with confidence at any level.
