My lessons are structured, engaging, and tailored to each student’s individual needs and goals. I usually begin with a short recap of previous topics to reinforce understanding and build confidence, before introducing a new concept in a clear, step-by-step way. I break down complex ideas into simple, manageable parts, making Maths more accessible and less overwhelming. Throughout the lesson, I use a mix of guided examples and exam-style questions, allowing students to practise and apply what they’ve learned while developing strong exam technique.
The lessons are interactive and supportive, encouraging students to ask questions and actively participate rather than just listen. I focus on identifying and addressing common mistakes, helping students understand not only how to get the right answer, but why it works. Regular feedback is a key part of my approach, ensuring students can see their progress and know exactly what to improve.
In addition to teaching content, I incorporate useful study strategies, time management skills, and confidence-building techniques to support overall academic success. I have experience working with GCSE students of different abilities, from those aiming to secure a pass to those striving for top grades, and I adapt my teaching style accordingly. My aim is to create a positive and motivating learning environment where students feel comfortable, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential.
I am a positive, outgoing and bubbly individual and love getting to know my students alongside teaching them to get the best grades they possibly can.
