Jasmine

Hello! My name is Jasmine. As a language teacher, I have dedicated over 7 years to teaching, with a focus on creating engaging, inclusive, and dynamic learning environments. I am passionate about exploring the world and learning about new cultures. I have taught English in various places including London, Mexico City, Barcelona and Lisbon. I am a native English and Italian speaker from the UK. I speak both English and Italian fluently, with an intermediate Spanish level.


I aim to inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and encourage students discover their unique strengths and unlock their language potentials.


Apart from teaching, I love listening and discovering music. I also studied photography and Art at university. I enjoy playing painting, drawing, playing chess, travelling and collecting vinyl records.


I also love experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen and sharing recipes with my students. These hobbies allow me to stay creative and energised, which I find very important!


I have over 7 years of teaching experience across various levels and ages starting from 6 to 60. I am able to manage classroom based lessons in small groups and large groups both online and in person. I have taught individually focusing on english for Business as well as conversational. I am also adept in preparing students for exams such as IELTS and B2 First, and Cambridge.


My certifications include Cambridge CELTA, Introductory Course Art Therapy Metafora and Intensive Teacher Training for Early Years, these courses have equipped me with the skills to support students with diverse learning needs, levels and styles.


My academic background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Photography and Art from UAL. My subject areas of expertise include English literature & language, Photography and Art.
