Teaching is my most natural vocation. After obtaining a PhD in Literature and Philosophy, I have taught undergraduate Philosophy courses at the University of East Anglia (UK), and private Italian and English courses online and in person. I am specialised in academic writing, aesthetics, philosophy of art, epistemology, and history of modern philosophy, and I am also fluent in Spanish and German.

In the last two years I have delivered English lessons to more than 100 Italian students (age range 11-30), whom I have successfully prepared for the Cambridge Language Assessment exams (KET, PET, FCE, CAE). I am able to tailor my lessons to the specific needs of my students, and can offer support with university and academic writing in English and Italian. In light of this aspect, my lessons can assume a number of formats: from a series of conversations on topics specifically chosen by the student to a structured series of modules drawn from the Cambridge Language Assessment books. My lessons are always dynamic and stimulating, and I try my best to establish a real contact with my students in order to understand their preferences and encourage them to progress accordingly with their personal and professional development.

My method is a perfect mixture of tradition and innovation. I value a hands-on approach as much as a thorough grammar lesson, and I'm able and willing to give my best in both!
