Hi! I’m a 2nd-year MSci Biochemistry (Molecular Biology) student at UCL, with A*s in A Level Biology, Chemistry and Maths. I’ve been tutoring for a year, and I teach to where each student actually is.

If you’re aiming for the top grades: we go straight into exam questions. We work through past-paper questions, especially the tricky 6 mark ones, and I show you how mark schemes work, what examiners reward and where easy marks get dropped. You’ll learn to structure answers, use precise terminology and handle data and maths questions with confidence.

If you want to build your understanding: we start with the content. I break topics down into clear, simple steps, link ideas together so they make sense rather than just memorising them, and build up to exam-style questions at your own pace.

Lessons are tailored to your exam board, your goals and the topics you find hardest. My Chemistry and Maths background is a real help in areas like biochemistry, respiration, protein synthesis and stats. I’m friendly, patient and always happy to explain something a different way until it clicks.

Resources and homework: After each lesson I send over the resources we used, such as clear notes, worked examples and past-paper questions, so you have everything in one place to revise from. I also set optional homework tailored to what we covered: exam-style questions for higher-achieving students, and content recap and practice questions for those building their understanding. I mark it and go through it with you in the next lesson, so you always know what to improve before the exam.
