My classes would usually consist of a warm up exercise and general catch up. This would not only to help us build a relationship, but to see what progress has been made up to that point from previous lessons. Each lesson would involve a new topic with a set of vocab and popular phrases that are associated with it. We would go through this together, ensuring correct pronunciation and usage when speaking. This may also include role-play for a situation that this language would be used in. In regards to reading and writing I wold use physical queues and games to help memorise the spelling and grammar. They would conclude with a set of simple exercises for them to do in the time between then and the next lesson and to ask them if they have any general questions that haven't yet been answered.
