Modern Languages Graduate fluent in Spanish and French, with proficiency in Russian.

Having lived in Spain for 3 months and in France for over 1 year, I draw upon my experience and knowledge of both languages and cultures to help students achieve their language and academic goals.

My lessons are tailored to each student's individual needs, level and goals. I aim to make lessons engaging and supportive, combining conversation and speaking with activities focused on vocabulary, grammar, reading and writing. I can adapt the content depending on whether a student wants to improve their general language ability, focus on a particular difficulty, or develop overall confidence.

Having recently returned from a year teaching English in France, alongside my previous experience teaching and tutoring languages, I understand the difficulties students may face. I also understand and prioritise adapting lessons to different learning styles and academic or professional needs. I believe in creating a positive environment where students feel comfortable learning, asking question and ultimately enjoy learning languages.

I can also support students with specific academic goals, including preparing for assessments and improving their written and spoken communication. As someone who has studied several languages myself, and studied languages for GCSEs, A Levels, official language qualifications, and at degree level, I understand the challenges that can come with language learning at different stages. This allows me to approach lessons with patience and understanding, while helping students build both their skills and confidence.

¡Que tengáis un buen día!
Bonne journée à toutes et à tous !
