Hey all my name is James, I am a designer from Ireland but I work in the UK

For a long time I have been working in design with a professional practice. I have worked for companies and run workshops across Wales and the south of England.

I primarily work in painting traditionally and digitally. As well as teaching the theory of design, graphics and illustrative practices. What this means is that you may obtain an array of skills and information. I can teach basic art skills, up to intermediate and expert.

When we understand art and design practice we all gain a greater understanding of the world around us, as well as a universal language. That all cultures and people can relate too and aspire to create.

The overall learning that is associated with Art And Design practice is transferable skills that can be used in many different areas such as, film, tv, books, murals, music, animation, game design, fashion, photography etc. As the skills learned are transferable we can then have a deeper understanding of what art and design means for culture and humanity.

Art and design shows us that everything in the world is connected and everything is culturally significant to everyone. Visual communications, art and design will help us interpret the world around us as well as understand one another. As well as help us understand our own ways of thinking and how we as creative people think about the methodology of our work, practice and medium.
