For online lessons, we'll use digital whiteboard spaces to demonstrate principles and illustrate things step-by-step, making sure things can be absorbed in a natural and intuitive way which normal classrooms can't provide. Visual aids such as example graphics, short videos, and drawings help to make things clearer and to keep attention focused. The student will answer casual questions as we step through the lesson, free to ask their own at their own pace, and prepare to pass mini-quizzes each lesson, customised to the student's learning style and speed.
In person, we can mix the above with physical textbooks for examples and guidance, as well as making them familiar with how to use and read a textbook properly for their future classes in school. Pencil and paper is freely used for scribblings, musings, exploring thoughts - all the trial and error needed to succeed.
