I have taught young and adult students for more than ten years down the line. I mainly specialise in one on one contact with my students. I use materials like charts, chalk, felt pens, pictures, photograhs, etc, to engage my students in my lessons. I also use gesticulation to drive my points/ lessons home to my students. For my online students, I will mainly deal with parts of speech, e. g. Nouns, Pronouns, Verbs, Adverbs, Adjectives, Prepositions, etc. I will arrange my lessons for my students in such a way that, each lesson will be taking a maximum period of one hour. This will enable my students be in a position to grasp the lesson content, without losing their attention span. I will also give my students online quizes/ questions to enable me assess them. This will also enable me know their different levels of aptitude and understanding. I will give special attention to my students who may have special cases or challenges in terms of their inability to concentrate due to inevitable reasons. I will maintain very close monitoring to students who may not be able to concentrate due to emotional, relational or mental causes. At the end of the day, my students will appreciate and enjoy the lessons which I will offer to them. A conducive online learning environment will be created for every student who will come my way, at any one given time. As time goes by, we shall form a students networking platform for healthy interaction.
