I will deliver lessons that are tailored to the needs of each pupil.

A pre assessment will be undertaken to identify the misconceptions and incorrect method.

Explicit teaching of the correct method - through multiple examples, ‘thinking out loud’ and high-quality modelling.

Collaborative work - this will enable small steps of improvement to take place and a chance for confidence to grow.

Independent practice. This will always be guided and fully supported, with additional modelling if required.

Post assessment - to demonstrate progress and inform the next steps in learning.
