I’m very flexible with lesson format. I’m happy to present or lecture but often find that a more involved approach is rewarding. We can discuss the areas you struggle with and specifically design tasks to help you understand what you need to know. I know how hard studying can be so don’t worry! Past papers are something we can work through together but normally I would try to develop a wider and more complete understanding before we get to that point. I like to use real research tools (websites, publications and online repositories) to help students develop a bank of resources they can go back to independently throughout their learning careers. A lot of students have questions and don’t know where to even begin looking for the answer. Not only can I help by answering any specific questions, I will help you become a confident independent learner at any level, be it A level or higher education. My previous experience varies, I have supervised masters students, undergraduates, young children and young adults with learning difficulties. The range of experience means I have a clear and adaptable teaching style, we can explore several ways of teaching/learning to find the style that suits you best. I’m happy to have lessons in person or online, which ever is more comfortable for you. I have several online web tools that we can use if distance learning suits you better. My availability is after 5pm Mondays - Thursdays. I look forward to hearing from you
