My name is Jamelia, Mucho gusto!
I am a language teacher from the UK with a great range of language learning tips and advice I love sharing! What sets me apart from others I would say is my experience in education systems outside of the UK, meaning that I take on a broader perspective on knowledge covered in any curriculum.
I qualified to teach Modern Foreign Languages in Secondary Education, with a special interest in ESL students. Having worked as a supply teacher in primary schools and in programmes around the world ranging from Spain, to Mexico, to Colombia I enjoy providing tailored learning plans adapted to student needs.
Whether you are learing to pass school qualifications, to travel or to connect with the Hispanic community in your area, I’m happy to introduce you to the rich world of Hispanic culture.
I like to structure my lessons combining culture and popular interests with accurate grammar knowledge. Previous students of mine have progressed from learning as a hobby to becoming fully confident conversationists!
