My lessons are structured, interactive, and tailored to each student’s level and goals. I begin by understanding the student’s current ability, strengths, and areas they find challenging. This allows me to create a personalised approach that ensures steady progress and keeps lessons focused and effective.

During each lesson, I break down concepts into simple, easy-to-follow steps, using clear explanations and relatable examples. For Computer Science, I combine theory with practical activities, such as basic programming exercises, logical problem-solving tasks, and step-by-step demonstrations. This helps students not only understand the material but also apply it confidently.

I make lessons engaging by encouraging active participation, asking questions, and allowing students to think through problems rather than just memorising answers. I also adapt the pace depending on the student, ensuring they feel comfortable and never overwhelmed.

In terms of experience, I have supported students at primary and secondary levels, helping them build strong foundations in computing and improve their confidence. I also assist with homework, revision, and exam preparation, providing useful tips and practice to reinforce learning outside of lessons.

Additionally, I focus on building long-term skills such as logical thinking, independence, and problem-solving, which are essential in Computer Science. I aim to make lessons enjoyable and stress-free, creating a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them. I also provide regular feedback and progress updates so both students and parents can clearly see improvement over time.
