The format used will be that of progression in that things will start off very basic and progress over time to become much more advanced, and lessons will be taught on a weekly basis. The content of the lessons will cover how to get started with things like basic technique and then work up to being more advanced and complicated to the level of playing real songs. I have 8 years experience playing piano, 2-3 of which were tutored. I achieved a merit on my grade 1 exam and have been self taught the remaining 5-6 years.
