Here’s what a typical lesson might look like:

Introduction & Review: We'll start with a quick review of what you've learned so far, either through a Q&A or by revisiting key points from the last session.

Core Learning: This is where we dig into the main content of the lesson. I make sure the material is presented in a clear and engaging way. I might use multimedia, interactive exercises, or real-life examples to make things stick.

Application: After theory comes practise! We’ll engage in practical activities - whether it’s a conversation, problem-solving exercises, or applying new skills in real-world scenarios. This part is crucial for solidifying your understanding.

Wrap-up & Reflection: At the end of each session, we’ll summarise what we’ve covered and I’ll give you any follow-up assignments or resources to continue practising. I encourage feedback so that I can fine-tune future lessons to fit your pace and preferences.

Experience & Expertise
I’ve been teaching for 20 years, with experience in the primary setting, with a particular focus on phonics, maths and computing. Over the years, I’ve worked with students of all levels, from complete beginners to advanced learners. I’ve also taught diverse groups, which has helped me develop techniques that work for a range of learners.
