Hello, I’m Jade, a qualified Early Years teacher and mum to two young boys, with experience supporting children aged 3–6 as they develop confidence, early learning skills and school readiness.

I specialise in school readiness, early phonics development and SEND support, helping young children build strong foundations before starting nursery or Reception. My aim is to make learning positive, gentle and engaging while helping children feel confident and capable.

As both a teacher and a parent, I understand that every child develops at their own pace and that parents sometimes need reassurance or guidance about what is expected at this stage.

My approach is slightly different from traditional tutoring. I focus not only on supporting the child, but also on helping parents understand what is expected in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and how they can support their child at home.

I offer an initial 30-minute online consultation with the parent where we discuss your child’s current development, any concerns you may have, and the areas where support would be most helpful. During this session I can explain what schools typically look for at different ages in early years, including areas such as communication and language, social development, early phonics, independence and attention skills.

After the consultation, I provide a personalised support pack with practical strategies, activities and guidance that parents can use at home to support their child’s development. This may include ideas for building phonics skills, strengthening fine motor skills for writing, developing listening and communication skills, and supporting confidence and independence before starting school.

For children with additional needs, I can also offer guidance around SEND support, including strategies that help with communication, attention, sensory needs and emotional regulation.

Follow-up sessions can be arranged if you would like continued support. These sessions may focus on helping children prepare for school, supporting early learning during Reception, or giving parents practical tools to help their child feel more confident in the classroom.

My goal is to provide supportive, practical guidance that helps both parents and children feel prepared, confident and supported during the early years of learning.
