My lessons usually follow the style of helping teach content instruction with the incorporation of active engagement. I enjoy going through content with students and then like to ask open and closed follow up questions in order to check for understanding. Additionally, I like to have students re-explain content back to me in order for them to get the most out of this active learning process. Finally, I like to incorporate drawing, diagrams, and handmade worksheets in order for students to use as practice materials.
