A History/Archaeology graduate with over 6 years of professional tutoring experience both in-person and online, I am focused on creating a truly tailored experience specifically for you, not just reading off a textbook or syllabus!
Coming from an entire family of educators, I have been tutoring and teaching others in some capacity since I was in year 3 at school! Because of this, I am confident I will be able to create a tutoring experience that really works for you - and where I will aim to teach someone not just the specific information they need, but also helping them becoming confident in the actual learning process!

The first session will be dedicated to getting to know each other a little and establishing a few key things: Which areas we are most/least confident with; the overall goals of the sessions; and finally the first steps in establishing the best style of learning. Following this, lessons will be structured on a case-by-case basis depending on what is needed for that particular sessions, but I will endeavour to keep the sessions informal and fun, as it has been proven to massively increasing learning effectiveness. Throughout the sessions, I believe it is important for the person being tutored to reach the answers themselves, rather than simply being told to memorise what the correct answers are; as in this way the skills we develop can be applied to any academic problem that may be encountered.
Finally, depending on your preference, I am happy to provide specific feedback for each session (or every few sessions if preferred).
