My French lessons are designed to be interactive, engaging, and entirely tailored to each student’s goals and level. Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to strengthen your understanding, I focus on building a solid foundation in vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and comprehension through a dynamic mix of speaking, listening, reading, and writing activities.

Each session typically begins with a conversational warm-up to build confidence and fluency, followed by structured exercises and real-life scenarios that make learning both practical and enjoyable. I also incorporate games, music, cultural insights, and authentic materials such as short articles or videos to bring the French-speaking world to life and encourage immersion beyond the textbook.

Having grown up in English, French, and Dutch-speaking countries, and studied in both English and Spanish, I bring a multicultural perspective that helps students understand not just the language, but the culture behind it. My experience teaching children English and tutoring beginner French and Spanish students has taught me how to adapt my lessons to each learner’s pace, interests, and preferred learning style.

Lessons can take place online or in person in Loughborough, depending on what works best for you. I’m flexible in adjusting schedules, content, and teaching approaches to ensure every student feels supported and challenged in the right measure. Between sessions, I’m also happy to provide optional practice materials, vocabulary lists, and small cultural tasks to keep you progressing.
