Hi! I'm Jack — a JLPT N1-qualified Japanese tutor with a passion for helping students truly enjoy and succeed in their language journey.

I've been tutoring one-to-one for years across a range of subjects, so I know that every student learns differently. Whether you're just starting out, preparing for a JLPT exam, or looking to build real conversational confidence, I'll tailor each session to your pace, goals and learning style.

I teach everything from the absolute basics and fundamentals all the way through to advanced Japanese — so no matter where you are right now, we'll build from there together.

My lessons are anything but boring! Instead of repetitive drills, I focus on real interaction and conversation, bringing in fascinating Japanese stories, culture, history, idioms and quirky places to keep things engaging and fun. Learning a language should feel like an adventure, not a chore!
