Jack

Hi, I’m Jack. I’m 29 years old and I am a fully qualified Primary School teacher, currently teaching in Year 6. I graduated from University in 2021 and was awarded a First Class Honours Degree in Primary Education with QTS, specialising in Maths. I have over 6 years experience teaching the primary curriculum, from Reception through to Year 6. Although I am currently teaching in upper Key Stage 2, I am able to tutor all subjects across the entire primary curriculum. I specialise in providing tutoring in readiness for KS1/2 SATs in Reading, Maths and SPaG.

I have experience tutoring both 1-2-1 and small groups in a wide variety of primary subjects. I can offer tutoring both face to face (locally) and online. For SATs preparation lessons, I can work through previous SATs papers with your child, identifying target areas that can inform our future sessions. I can also offer lots of support on answering SATs style questions, to help increase their confidence and readiness for their tests. I guarantee that all of my sessions are fun, engaging and packed full of subject knowledge. In order to make the sessions impactful, I believe it’s important for children to be actively involved in their learning, so I aim to provide a variety of resources, manipulatives and activities for children to engage in. I am also able to assess childrens’ progress and identify areas that require further support.
