My lessons are supportive, exploratory, tailored to each student’s interests and goals. Sessions usually combine practical workshop activities, discussion and focused feedback. Which allows space to experiment with materials, drawing and ideas while developing strong conceptual thinking. I often use short prompts or exercises to help students unlock ideas, followed by reflective conversation and critique to support progression.

I have extensive experience teaching at graduate level in higher education and working professionally as a practising artist and curator. This means I bring current, real world insight into contemporary art practice, helping students understand both creative development and professional contexts. Lessons are flexible and process-led, designed to build confidence, encourage risk-taking and support students in developing a clear, individual practice at their own pace.
Online sessions are structured but informal, creating a relaxed space where questions and experimentation are encouraged. I adapt my teaching style to different learning needs, whether students are developing a portfolio, refining a specific project, or exploring new ways of working. I place strong emphasis on dialogue, reflection and critical thinking. Ensuring students leave each session with practical next steps, renewed motivation and greater clarity in their creative direction.
