In-depth analysis of poems, plays and novels- ensuring you understand language, structure and form (in-lesson annotations).
There will be a good balance between analysing characters and themes, and tasks such as planning and writing up exam answers which will be marked according to your exam board. Relevant and constant revision activities will be provided to ensure knowledge from previous lessons as well as prominent content is remembered.
Lessons are usually 2 hours for ages 10-11.
