My A-level and GCSE Economics lessons are clear, structured, and fully aligned with UK exam requirements. With over 20 years of Economics teaching experience and a long background as a public-exam marker, I design every session to build strong subject knowledge and excellent exam technique.
Each lesson begins with a quick review or diagnostic task to identify gaps and set clear goals. I then break down economic theory into simple, logical steps, using real-life examples that help students connect abstract ideas to the world around them. Topics such as supply and demand, market failure, inflation, unemployment, and macroeconomic policy are taught in a way that is both accessible and intellectually engaging.
Exam preparation is central to my teaching. I guide students through past papers, data-response questions, and structured essay writing—showing them how to interpret command words, apply concepts effectively, and write answers that score high marks. My experience as an examiner allows me to highlight exactly what exam boards expect and how to avoid common pitfalls.
Lessons are interactive and student-centred. I encourage questions, discussion, and active thinking to deepen understanding and develop analytical skills. Targeted practice, personalised feedback, and step-by-step guidance help students steadily improve and gain confidence.
All lessons are delivered online, making them flexible and easy to schedule. Whether preparing for GCSE foundations or aiming for top A-level grades, my goal is to help every learner develop mastery of Economics, strengthen exam performance, and achieve their full potential.
