Iván

Hello! My name is Iván. I studied advertising and PR, and I'm a journalist and radio host by profession, teaching Spanish for the last two years with a Leuven University certificate. I have over 220 handmade lessons plus exercises, so you don't need to buy any book ^^

My teaching approach combines language learning with culture, history and real-life communication. I believe that students learn best when they feel motivated, involved and confident enough to use the language actively. I really, really, really love teaching Spanish.

My story, in a nutshell: I started out doing copy for a radio station, doing voice-overs and audio editing. I moved on to a small radio station as an editor - announcer - producer - one-man band... and I even did the branding for a local beer brand that failed because, honestly, it tasted awful. From there I moved on to a sports radio station while I got my degree in advertising with a handful of honors. I spent a year improving my English, and from there I moved on to public radio in Aragón (where I live), where I've done a bit of everything in magazines and news; writing scripts, producing content, getting and doing interviews, or having a film and series section.
