Dr. Itedal Abdelraheem Mohamed Ahmed Ahmed

I am an Associate Professor of Human Anatomy and Histology with extensive academic and teaching experience in medical and health sciences education. I have contributed to teaching undergraduate students across medicine, dentistry, nursing, and allied health programs, delivering courses in gross anatomy, histology, embryology, and neuroanatomy.
I have significant experience in coordinating integrated, block-based curricula, including cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, nervous system, and foundational biomedical science modules. My role involves curriculum development, alignment of learning outcomes, and implementation of innovative teaching strategies that enhance student engagement and understanding.
I am actively involved in academic administration, serving in departmental leadership roles where I contribute to quality assurance, accreditation processes, and academic planning. I have experience in designing and analyzing assessments, including MCQs, OSPE/OSCE, and competency-based evaluations, with a strong focus on psychometric analysis and outcome-based education.
My research interests focus on anatomy education, technology-enhanced learning, and the application of artificial intelligence in medical education. I have also conducted clinical and histomorphometric research, contributing to improving both educational practices and scientific knowledge.
