My lessons are always guided by what students are most interested in. I am happy to focus on the areas where they feel they need the most improvement: that may be speaking, grammar, vocabulary or exam technique. I like to explain concepts at the start of the lesson then guide students through exercises to help them consolidate these ideas. However, I make sure to include games, vocab practice and some conversation in Spanish during the lesson to keep things interesting! If wanted, I can also set additional work to do outside of lessons to help students further. I have helped both GCSE and A-Level students increase their grades significantly, with some A-Level students coming out with A*s in Spanish. I recently spent six months teaching English in Paraguay so have very good Spanish and experience teaching in a classroom as well!
