Issy Baldock

My lessons are calm, friendly and focused on building confidence. I adapt each lesson to the student’s age, level and needs, whether they need help with homework, reading, writing, grammar, French vocabulary, History content, or general revision skills.

I usually begin by checking what the student is finding difficult, then I break the topic down into simple steps. I like to use clear explanations, short practice tasks and gentle questioning to make sure they understand before moving on.

My lessons are aimed mainly at Primary, KS2 and KS3 pupils. I can support English, French, History, reading comprehension, spelling, grammar, essay planning and homework. As an A Level student, I understand how important confidence and encouragement are, so I try to make lessons supportive, organised and easy to follow.
